RPM Front Skid Plate for the Associated MT8
The RPM Front Skid Plate for the Associated MT8 is designed to improve durability and help protect the exposed aluminum chassis. We designed our version of the skid plate by extending it rearward. That extra section covers more of the chassis, protecting it from harmful rocks and debris. The lengthened skid plate is now supported by the rear gearbox screws. We’ve also eliminated the front M3 x 14mm button-head screw as integral to the skid plate design. Eliminating that screw allowed us to change the shape of the skid plate for additional durability.
