The E-flite® Micro P-47 Thunderbolt 625mm is scaled to be affordable and practical for more RC pilots to own and fly. It's also the first-ever micro-class warbird model to include functional flaps, retracts, and LED navigation lights! The brushless power system is compatible with popular 3S 600–850mAh batteries, plus the Spektrum™ receiver is equipped with enhanced AS3X+® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies to make it one of the easiest to fly P-47 models yet. The retractable landing gear with a steerable tail wheel makes it easy to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the landing gear retracted to hand launch and belly land when flying over grass. It arrives factory-finished in a fully painted scale trim scheme and is ready to fly after quickly installing the one-piece wing with a single thumbscrew.

Built like a flying tank, the P-47 Thunderbolt packed the wallop of eight .50 caliber machine guns and could carry enough bombs plus rockets to wipe a ground target clean off the map. The E-flite® Micro P-47 Thunderbolt 625mm is slightly larger than UMX™ (Ultra Micro eXtreme) and other ultra-micro class models to better replicate the full-scale aircraft's design while including as many scale details as possible in the fully molded EPO airframe. It's still small and light enough to fly in large yards, small parks, sports fields, and beyond – yet it also features incredible surface details, including molded-in panel lines, machine guns, and more. Best of all, it's the first “full house” micro class warbird model to include functional retracts, flaps, and LED navigation lights! The high-power brushless outrunner motor can drive the 4-blade propeller with a 3S 600–850mAh battery for everything from smooth and scale-like flight to better-than-scale vertical performance and aggressive aerobatics. The factory-installed Spektrum™ receiver and Avian™ Smart Lite ESC deliver real-time telemetry data, including overall battery voltage, current, motor RPM, and more, to compatible AirWare-equipped transmitters – with Smart and non-Smart batteries. The receiver is also equipped with expertly tuned AS3X+® technology, giving you the smooth, locked-in feel of a larger model – even in some wind – along with optional-use SAFE® Select to make it even easier to fly. The Micro P-47 arrives factory-finished with a premium, fully-painted plus decal trim scheme and mostly factory-assembled with a separate one-piece wing that can be installed or removed quickly and easily with a single thumbscrew. Skill Level 3 – Intermediate Pilots

Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have experience with “Next Step” and beyond aircraft, plus the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar class models. And although this is one of the easiest to fly P-47 models yet, it's not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly UMX and other warbird models including the E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.0m, T-28 Trojan 1.1m, or the 1.2m and larger models before attempting to fly the Micro P-47 Thunderbolt.

Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier to fly P-47.

This BNF aircraft is equipped with a receiver that is loaded with a Smart Transmitter File (STF) that makes programming your Spektrum NX or iX series transmitter as easy as a few clicks of a button. When you bind your transmitter to an STF-equipped aircraft, all programming parameters download automatically from the receiver if you choose. Switch assignments, rates, expo, telemetry, and voice callouts configure themselves. No lengthy step-by-step instructions. No continual adjustments. Telemetry Capability

The Micro P-47 Thunderbolt is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that provides a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data including overall battery voltage, current draw, and more – when using Smart and non-Smart batteries – to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.

High Performance

The factory-installed brushless power system features a powerful 3S-compatible outrunner motor equipped with a 4-blade prop. This power system setup delivers great speed and vertical performance, plus flight times, when using the recommended 600mAh non-Smart and 850mAh Smart 30+C LiPo batteries with an IC2 connector.
