Prior to the start of WWII, the British developed the 25-Pounder artillery weapon to replace the previous 18-Pounder. The idea was to combine the power of the 18-Pounder with a howitzer, resulting in the British 25-Pounder. This artillery weapon was used by the British as well as Commonwealth forces throughout WWII and following the Korean War in the 1970s. This 1/35 scale model kit includes the 25-Pounder as well as the CMP field-artillery tractor w/ammo limber. The tractor is comprised of pieces to construct the drive train and engine. The 25-Pounder has options to build it in either firing mode or travel mode. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale set measures 360mm long.
