JConcepts Ballistic 2.0 Crawler Wheel, Gray w/ Black Bead Lock (4pc)
JConcepts kicks off a new crawler wheel movement with the 2.0” Ballistic wheels for 1.9” bead mounting tires. The CNC machined aluminum wheel features a six-slot design around a bolt-in hex adaptor. The wheel’s positive offset helps narrow the vehicle’s track width or allows widening with optional adaptors.
The 2.0” size provides more inside diameter clearance to fit various portal axles. The design moves the center of the wheel closer to the kingpin, reducing scrub radius and weight jacking effects. The wide stance provides stability while remaining competition-legal with optional adaptors.
Gunmetal gray anodizing offers a clean finish. Mini chamfered slots add detail. A 4.5mm hex adaptor bolts in with six 3mm BHCS screws for secure attachment. Recessed bores between screws enhance appearance.
A steel locking ring secures the tire beads with minimal flex and added weight. The black anodized aluminum bead lock ring uses twelve 3mm BHCS screws to lock the tire securely. Counterbores help the screws sit flush, and recessed pockets in the ring enhance its look.
Note: The wheel set includes 2x M3x12 BHCS screws to assist in building the wheels. Start with these longer screws to press the bead into place, then replace them with M3x6 screws once the bead is seated to avoid any internal overhangs.
